[Resolved, iOS] Importing 'Final Save' From BG1 EE to BG2 EE?

Hey all,
I'm waiting on starting BG2 EE as I cannot figure out how to import my 'final save' from BG1 EE to BG 2 EE. I've read some frankly confusing posts about using non-related apps to copy saves and chat data but surely that is not necessary when Beamdog specifically makes a final save data file available to us for use in BG2?
Isn't there a simple method within BG2EE to import?
When I try to 'pre generate ' a character and select 'import' nothing appears so please any straightforward advice would be really welcome.
What is also troubling, is that I have read nothing from Beamdog themselves on this issue, irrespective of questions and request for advice they have failed to respond even once over this issue as far as I am aware.
Thanks in advance.

Release it after a few seconds and you should get a pop-up window. On the top bar there should be various options including "Copy to Baldur's Gate II".
n.b. I don't have a final save to check but I think you can load the final save, pause, then quicksave?
Phantasmagorical! Worked, thank you so much :-)
I could use either a quick save or the 'final save' having to just confirm my character colouring, name and voice.
Again, thanks a lot for your kind help.
