    Isn't one of the random couriers running around carrying boots of speed that can be pickpocketed?

    Lothander isn't at The Blade and Stars inn despite the fact I have the Cure Gaes Scroll. I need to fix this. Any ideas?

    I killed Marek AFTER killing Lothander, and the poison antidote was not on Marek's body. I reloaded and killed him again, and there it was. So the bug has nothing to do with the order of play, but only with the fact that sometimes the antidote does not drop with his corpse. Try reloading (you did save first, right??) and see if you get the antidote from Marek.
