BG2 EE Map Change/Screen Change Bug

Ok, so I have had a recurring bug now in BG2 EE. I just played through both BG1 and Dragonspear fine. The first time I got the bug I was trying to move to D'arnise Keep. I restarted BG2 EE with an imported Character and then got stuck trying to enter the Troll Mound in the Druid Grove. Basically the music cuts off like its trying to load the next screen but nothing happens. If I continue to mess around with is the game will eventually crash. It also can do some strange things with the map screen, like remove the locations and shrink the overall map completely. Reloading and even reinstalling the game does not fix these bugs. Has anyone had this problem or knows a work around. I am on Windows 10, which I'm not used to, but I guess ill have to deal with since they wont let me keep running 7 anymore. I also downloaded the game off of steam.

    @Grimoore can you zip and attach a save please. Also a save from before visiting the druid grove if you have one.
