Fave "Torment" Character you would like to see in BG?

Not a poll, just a query.

Me, I'd LOVE to see the bat-shit craziness of Morte in a BG game.
He would probably be hard pressed to survive such magic oriented chapters that ToB has but could you imagine the start of BG after Gorion dies?
"Heya! it's me! Morte!"
"What the....? You bloody @$%^!!!"
"Hmmm, new taunts!"

Hmm.. Hard question. I agree that Morte would have been pretty cool, he's practically a proper lich but a fighter instead of a mage. He doesn't really fit it that well which actually make him an even funnier candidate.

The obvious choice would prolly be Dak'kon. It was a long time a go I played PS:T, but he's a gith right? Maybe some cool interactions and banters could be had with him when encoutnering gith in the game.

Ignatus was quite funny IIRC. The thief, I don't recall her name, would be cool as well. Maybe as a tiefling (a thiefling! muahaha) she could add another dimension to the charname/haer'dalis/aerie love triangle to make it a really juicy love cubicle!

I also could see Fall-from-Grace as an interesting character to adventure with. Though in my heart she better belongs in Torment. But a similar character would be great in the BG world. Hmm… Darn it! Now I have this character bouncing around in my head, walking and talking… Very bad when that happens. I already have way to much that I’m trying to finish. lol

Ignus could definitely happen as they've imported his character model into baldur's gate. The first extraplanar being you pull over using the spectacles of spectacle in Siege of Dragonspear is his character model and could be modded into Ignus. His insane voiceset is somewhat off-putting to me.

Hypothetically,Fall from grace could be found in Cooper Corronet upstairs in the brothel interacting with wife searching his man.

I would design a companion quest for Morte like this:
When you defeat the dreadful lich, you take his skull and a letter. When you open the letter, it reads
I was possesed with dark magic. Please go to the temple and the cite a summoning chant:

Call from the darkness and I'll become your friend,
In latin I'm death but don't you fret.
    Search for the light,
    together we'll shed fear.

And then the lich's skull would be released of the spell as Morte.

Annah-of-the-Shadows could be found in Planar sphere or trapped with Haer'Dalis, hypothetically.

Kinda nostalgic for Planescape Torment. Patiently awaiting for PST: EE. If only there would be additional content with it.

Yes and no. Dak'kon was a Githzerai, and there are plenty of Githyanki in BG2. Should be ... interesting!

    Morte would be great fun!

Maybe you could loot some of Firkraag's teeth for him and then have Cespenar upgrade them in ToB. Advantage: Hit as a +4 weapon, cause 2d8 fire damage on hit. Disadvantage: Slightly slur his speech, making Litany of Curses less effective (granting enemies +1 to Save vs. Litany).

I don't think Annah would be much impressed by our sparrow. He doesn't even have a proper tail.
As soon as he starts wooing her, she would be like: Oh shut up, you twerp.
And I don't think our sparrow takes such insolences lightly.

Aerie and her though could be interesting.

Morte and Kangaxx is ofc an intruiging thought and almost a classic already. Like the Firkraag idea as well.

But I vote for Nordom and to keep the balance also for Martha.

I don't want any torment characters in BG. Why? They don't fit the theme or the story.

The Githyanki are justified by the fact that you can have the silver sword sliver. What reason would a Githzerai have to bother with you? They wouldn't care about a silver sword sliver, nor are Githzerai going to go out of their way (planar traveling is not easy, generally) to defend you for very little benefit to them.

I'm a sucker for Jennifer Hale's voice acting, so I agree Falls-from-Grace would be nice to have in the party. Also, I think Annah would be a nice addition, especially in BG2.

    Morte for President Grand Duke!

I'm gonna go with Nordom. After all, with all the die rolls simulated, BG has a serious lack of polyhedrons for a D&D-based game.

No it would not. As I said in my thread a few weeks ago...

So I am starting a new BG2 game. I am playing Fall From Grace (http://orig11.deviantart.net/2e17/f/2010/306/3/b/fall_from_grace_by_eilidh-d32111t.jpg for the pic and her sound set). I have Keldorn, Anomen, Jan, Neera, and....Mazzy in the party. 2 Jennifer Hale sound sets are already responsible for one death. I think there may be more
