Low UI Resolution

I've taken a long break from Baldur's Gate, so I don't know if this is an old issue or if it's part of the new 2.0 patch that brought along so many other bugs according to people, but the bar around my message box (where all the feedback and conversations take place) is definitely in low resolution. I can see the pixels and "cuts" in the texture - looks quite ugly. This occurs in both Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 (I play the EE versions).

I have tried reinstalling the game, switching to the alternate renderer, and messing around with scaling options both in-game and in the Nvidia control panel with no effect. I've even started up Icewind Dale:EE and also looked at other people's UI on Youtube and there is undeniably something wrong with mine. The other parts of the UI looks fine.

I know it is not a huge issue, but a bit disappointing nevertheless. Has anyone a fix for this?

    Hi @LundmaN could you

    a) attach a screenshot showing the issue
    b) advise platform and store. I assume PC based on alternate renderer
    c) attach a dxdiag.txt report (Window/R, type dxdiag, click ok, wait for it to run, click save all information)
