[Solved] BG2EE patch 2.3.67.3 - still unplayable / crashing on MAC

Guys,
after downloading the latest patch for BG2 EE on Mac, I realized that nothing has changed concerning the game's crashes on Mac.
After launching the game it still does not save the interface and language settings.
Moreover, after starting a new game it still instantly crashes. Great work!
Bug report for patch 2.3.67.3 on MAC:
1. The game does not save the settings. For instance after changing the language and restarting the game, it does not remember the "new" language setting.
2. The same goes for UI scaling. After installing BG starts without UI scaling (i.e. with a really tiny UI), if I activate UI scaling and restart the game, it still resets to default.
3. After starting a new game it instantly crashes.
Help would be appreciated, as BG2 EE on mac is therefore completely unplayable in its current state.
OS:
macOS, macbook pro 2015 13", el capitan, language: German

Thanks
Excellent, that worked.
Now the modding can begin. I'm looking forward into playin' that good ol' gem again.
Thank you very much!
