BGII:EE for iPad update

will you ever release an update for the ipad edition? The last was 2015 and with the quickspell bug of the sorcerer it is now almost unplayable. I love the game and I think it is worth the money but this support is crap. No update since Februar 2015!!!

A disappointed fan

As primarily an IPad player for this game these days, I would like to know this too!

Is it at least possible to add File Sharing on iTunes in the app? So can at least export my save game and think about to buy the gog-version? Since ios 8.3 it is not possible to export the save game anymore.

Playing on iPad as a Sorcerer without working Shortcuts is just annoying and takes the fun off the game.

Nice to read. But honestly I don't think it will make any diffrence because I think the sell-out on mobile device was very low. If not, the app received at least one update during the last 1.5 year.
It is just sad about the money which mobile device user threw out of the window.

I can't comment now about whether or not it will influence the EEs (so far, Beamdog hasn't revieved any information from Apple in this context), but accroding to the App Store guide, "our app will remain fully functional for current users". So, all the customers will be able to continue using their games in any situation.

What I meant: The game has still some issues, like losing quick spells as sorcerer, which makes the game annoying to play, when you have a sorcerer as main character. I never played BG II again since, I don’t know, because of this and I don’t think I will.
Will the app removed from the store, the game and the money we spend is lost at this moment, the app is deleted from your ipad and you have because of several reasons no back up from the app. Happened to me by the Monkey Island games. The games are not available in my region anymore and my backup on computer is corrupt, anyhow. No chance to have it back.
And this, sooner or later will happen to the BG II iPad version.
But is fine now. I made my peace with it and I will no get cloese to any Enhanced Edition of Beamdog anymore.
