Quick Import option?

Is there any way out there (mods and the like) to set up a quick-import SoD from/to BGEE/G2EE? I liked BG1, but having to play a new character all the way through to avoid losing out on bonuses (tomes, pantaloons, non-default Bhaalpowers), etc.

Some people might think it's cheap to use console and the like for this, but I don't give myself anything I couldn't get normally... and that I haven't already on a half-dozen characters. Durlag's tower was cool the first couple times. Not so much the 6th or 7th.
