NPC has -1 exp to level up?

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
Hi, I'm sorry if this has been mentioned, haven't had alot of time to search the bug postings, but I went and got M'khiin, who i loved in my last playthrough, she's level 7 aaaaaaand has a "-1 experience to next level" Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Your game is missing a line from the XPLEVEL.2da file. I had the same problem.

    Attached is a .rar file. Unzip it into your BG:EE "override" folder, found in your BG:EE directory. Load up the game and M'Khiin will be able to level up. This might also correct M'Khiin's THAC0, if her THAC0 is erroneously set to 0.

    Awesome!!! Will i have to start a new game to reap the benefits of said file?

    Nope. Just go back to your previous save and M'Khiin should be able to level up.

    It often comes from modding. If you use the older EE versions of mods that remove or extend the level cap, it replaces the 2da file with one without entries for Shaman. No entries and it just shows a -1 and you can't level up.
