    I don't think so. Need it for Beholders, I'm guessing? I recommend the Shield of Balduran instead. If Basilisks, the Protection from Petrification spell should be fine, or else Potion of Mirrored Eyes.

    The Ring of Free Action and the Free Action spell protect from hold, paralyze, web, entangle, the movement rate modifier, slow, and depending on your install, also haste and stun. It does not block petrification or opcode 185, which is used in Hold Undead and Otiluke's Resilient Sphere.
