Joia's Flamdance Ring quest bugged?

in Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Version 2.3.67.3

Killed all the hobgoblins on the Friendly Arm Inn map. No flamedance ring dropped.

    How many did you kill?

    I've done this quest numerous times (I've got restart-itis :smile: ) and never had a problem.

    I found it. The loot was obscured by some trees. :-)

    or even the "TAB" key can be quite useful as well if you are out of the loot bar's radius

    This is my first play-through of the enhanced edition (though I played through BG and BG2 back in the day.

    The little red diamond all the way to the left toggles the loot bar on and off. It allows you to automatically pick up items in your area without walking to the item.
