Anyone up for making Drow portraits of NPCs for a mod?

Anyone up for making Drow portraits of NPCs for Portraits Portraits Everywhere (PPE) mod?

Isandir made some great ones back in the day here:

But there are quite a few missing for a complete set for the EE game.

Dorn, Edwina, Neera, Hexxat, Rasaad according to my calculations should be done.

These guys won't have to be done for various reasons:

Yoshimo (DOA), Wilson (immune), Sarevok (TOB)

I'm not sure if Clara/Hexxat should be done or not. Is it possible to take her to the underdark?
If you want to make Yoshimo for sentimental reasons I would include it too.


Please use the stock images, as Isandir did and 210x330 size. Here's the Edwina I'm using:

@bob_veng & @lefreut have made portraits for the mod before and if they want to again, but I know they get busy and wanted to open this up in case others want to pitch in. If you want to help, please reply to this post.

    I'm working with @swit to swap them in when your party is transformed.

    They will be optional install.

    The majority of portraits are from Isandir, but yeah there's some that he didn't make so we've got to make them and I'm not great at it so I'm asking for help here. Or I'll keep trying until I gets better, which might take a long time.

    I just don't like drow portaits much, Adalon's spell is an illusion I don't see any reason why it would look like the original character. She probably uses very common drow looks as to not get attention.

    Oh good, I'm glad that's the reason and not my imperfect photoshop skills.

    Yes, it will be an optional install so you won't have to load it.

    I found that thread and your portrait there but not the other EE npcs like Dorn, Neera, and still needed an Edwina.

    I can have a go at them if you want, but I doubt they will be any better than my go at Rasaad.

    @Buttercheese I think your Rasaad is great.

    I'm not happy with Dorn and Edwina is you want to have a go at them that would be great.

    I think my Heexat up there looks OK.

    Feel free to tinker around a bit more, but this is as far as I can go without Photoshop at my disposal.

    I really like the ones by @Syntia13 in that other thread. They feel like they wouldn't be out of place if they were in the party individually, whereas Isandir's are too different color wise from the regular portraits (which will look odd next to the PC). It's unfortunate her list doesn't include all of them.

    I agree, I like those as well. Isandir had a theme though so they are all similar to each other. He also changed backgrounds and things to make the portraits appear to be underground in the underdark, I appreciate that.

    But yes, I really also like the @Syntia13 portraits.

    Sadly it doesn't include a source, so no clue where that is originally from :/

    @Buttercheese, Aerie already has awesome portrait made by Isandir (with a symbol of Lolth rather than original one that likely refer to some good diety or Avariel race).

    You may want to make one for Yoshimo as there is a mod in beta last I checked for keeping him.

    Pretty sure that this symbol is just random.
    Also, that Lolth symbol is from fourth edition, in second edition she had that symbol:

    @Buttercheese, either way all Isandir portraits are in the same style. The Aerie you've posted doesn't look like evil drow to me. Adding simple color swap when a portrait with so much more work being put into it is available is not a good approach, imo. To make it consistent I would rather see portraits for missing characters done in @Isandir's unique style, although I know it's not that simple. On the other hand portraits in this topic, especially Hexxat and Rasaad, looks quite convincing :)

    Anybody have good photoshop skills to work on this? It's been made more elf like, now just needs the proper skin color.

    I found this cool drow portrait by uzlolzu, would make for a nice stand in for Hexxat, I think.
