How to export BG2EE save from iPhone?

Hi, does anyone know how to transfer a BG2EE save from an iPhone? I also own the PC version, and swapped between the platforms during BGEE, and want to do the same in the sequel. Problem is, long-tapping the quicksave icon, which worked perfectly in BGEE, doesn't do anything in BG2EE, it seems.

In the first game it allowed me to send a save file to DropBox, which I then access from my PC. But no joy now. Bug or feature?

Thanks in advance.

The long tap feature was added to BGEE in the 1.3.1 update iirc. After the 2.X patch it should work for BG2EE and hopefully IWDEE but until then i think we are screwed.

So there's potentially an impending patch which will add it? Do we have any idea when that patch may drop? Also, unrelatedly, wasn't the shaman class added toe BG2EE? Can't find it in character creation.

There is a patch in the works but they are giving no real indication of when it may be ready. Here is the link I found concerning the update: https://forums.beamdog.com/discussion/60226/bgii-ee-for-ipad-update#latest . I think the Shaman is good to go on the PC version of BG2EE but the iOS is still waiting on the patch. I could be wrong about the Shaman, I have been waiting for the iOS patch to try the BGEE-SOD-BG2EE run on the iPad so I have not started a new charname yet.

I bought a new iPad and I finished BG2 on my old iPad. Now I would like to export the savegames so I can go on playing the BG2 addon on the new iPad. There is no way to export savegames. Well done Beamdog.

Why don't you back up your old iPad to iTunes then restore to the new. I managed to keep all my saves when I upgraded to my iPad Pro that way.
