Apple and Beamdog's ping-pong (or Beamdog games disappearing from Apple Store account)

Hello there,
I contacted Apple regarding Baldur's gate EE and Baldur's gate II EE, plus theirs in-game purchases. They disappeared from my Apple Store account. I still have their receipt in my email. Apple then said to contact Beamdog, because they can't solve this problem. I contacted Beamdog and they said that they can't do a thing about this. Then I contacted Apple back again. Then contacted Beamdog AGAIN, with no success. What do I do now? Lost 40+ dollars to Apple and Beamdog?

Apple solved this problem. Unfortunately this worked after saying that I would go the legal way...

Sometimes strong-armed threats are the only solution, unfortunately. That was definitely an Apple thing, though. Beamdog, and other developers, have no control over how Apple distributes its apps and programs. Apple makes sure of it, they are very controlling of their proprietary distribution software.
