Extra first level spells in ToB

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Are there any items that give you extra 1st level spells in ToB? When you hit epic levels the wild magic spell suddenly becomes really useful. With the headband from Neera's quest + Improved chaos shield you get a 60% success rate.

    No, sadly. Maybe the Zerth katana, but a wild mage cant use it...

    The Ring Of Acuity gives extra spells from levels 2-4.

    As far as I know, there's only one item that gives extra first level mage spells in BG2 (besides special items like Edwin's amulet for example), and it's Dakkon Zerth's blade, which, as a katana, cannot be equipped by a wild mage. So no there is no way to get extra Reckless Dweomers. Which is only fair balance-wise, I guess, since every level 1 spell becomes a level whatever spell with this thing once you get a bit of gear and level.
