Should I play the expansions in which order?

Hey there!
I'm a huge IWD fan, but I must be honest : I've never completed HoW or ToL! I'd like to lnow of completing HoW prevents me from going back to the village and starting ToL.

ToL in HoW is like the Watcher's Keep in ToB.

With EE seamlessly fusing the games together (which means you can come back at Kuldahar at anytime), personally I just travel to HoW right before poquelin's stairs, and then I go for ToL right before heading to icky's island.

Once you beat the castle, you beat her and you're pratically back to frozen east haven. Screw those no-going-back routes.

Thanks a lot , guys. I also thought of the possolibility of finishing HoW and , if it's not possible to return to town I would export my party , restart HoW and simply go speak to the halfling, no?

Yes although fresh starting from HoW wipes out most containers and all of your gold I think
