Attacked by my alter ego in Brynnlaw!

in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
I was just leaving Brynnlaw by ship with Saemon when (as usual) I was attacked by Desharik and four of his pirate cronies, however this time I noticed that one of the pirates was called Dunbar!
A long time ago I created a character called Dunbar which I exported and so it's in my 'characters' folder but I've never noticed the game using one of my charnames before - have I just been blind all this time or is it as weird as I think it is?
I'm still playing v1.3 btw.

    You have just been blind. That guy has always been there, but he is the only one out of that group that is named so it is easy to miss.

    And if you think that is something, you should check this thread out... In my case it, really is as weird as it seems!

    That's a shame because I like weirdness. However on a positive note I've now learnt how to take screenshots - yes, I know there's a 'print screen' button but I honestly had no idea where the picture 'went' and after searching in vain through various likely folders I eventually decided to Google it (I'm very, very old and my mind is stuck in the slide rule era!).
