BG2:EE WILL NOT LAUNCH

Hi, running windows 10, file integrity verified, up to date. stupid fucking launch error. tried reinsalling, openAL installer, everything. No error info , number or code, just telling me to email beamdog but fuck that. anyone got any quick fix solutions before I enter for refund? BG1 + icewindale work np. this is ridiculous

Have you tried to renstall it? I've had problems with the launcher in the past but they were solved after reinstalling the game.

Reinstalled twice through Steam , nothing, the same dump error

Thanks for both quick replies, I followed the instructions, NVIDIAs site gave me abit of hassle, redownloaded the alupdate and messed around with the steam folders and what not. Was able to get it running, many thanks to you both and beamdog, dont know if the links you sent me are sticiked on the forums, but they should be

Now I can remake an actual account on this forum, and jump back into a great game i havent played for over 10 years. Sorry for stressing. Thanks all!
