Journal Issues - Will They Ever End?

Just curious if there's ever any plans to fully fix the BG:EE journal? Or if that's pretty much a lost cause this far along? I still see issues each time I play. Here's a few examples.
Rasaad's journal pop up on your screen (after he joins) says "The Sun Soul Monk" but when you check your actual entry - it says his name, with no text beneath it.
When you talk to the Farmer in the north of Beregost, you get "A Farmer's Tales" journal entry - but no text is beneath it at all.
Some things pop in quests which really aren't quests, so you can't "finish" them. They're just there forever (A Farmer's Tales, and Murder Most Foul are a couple examples). These should be placed to the Journal proper, rather than the Quest Log.
No Objective Text is pretty much listed for 90% of entries, instead of date.
I'll be honest - I don't have the time or patience anymore to create bug reports at the level of detail that is now being asked for. Nor do I wish to uninstall any mod I have currently in use, that in no way affects Journal usage (and likely isn't a cause for the behavior).

Also, mods can be part of the problem with journal entries remaining open. If a mod adds a new option to resolve a quest, but doesn't include the correct journal actions in that resolution, the quest can remain open. This may not be affecting your game, but it is possible.
