BaeLoth Ability Score bug

Hey Guys, first time posting. I'm on my first playthrough of Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition, and I have had BaeLoth for a while now and his ability scores are randomly switched around. His dexterity and constitution are both at 3 and are highlighted in red and his strength is at 23. I've unequipped every item and I have gone to the temple of helm in the city and had the priest cast remove magic on him multiple times. I have also rested at an inn multiple times, and I cannot figure out what has cause these stats to switch. It also does not say he is affected by any spell, and I just finished chapter 5. Any suggestions on what to try next?

    ...the violet potion from the Nashkel Carnival?

    The effect lasts 24 hours.
