What can change the nature of a man? [UberSPOILER inside]

I've never played PST in English.
In Italian it is said that BELIEVES change the nature of a man.
I found it weak.
Infact in the English walk-through I find FAITH instead.
Which one is the original answer?

OT: The answer I always give her is a "beatiful woman like you, Ravel."

Because I want +2 wisdom and max XP

I wanted the same. I don't think it was necessary. The important is don't say beautiful even thought not in the eyes.

By the way I'm speaking about the GOOD ENDING.

I'm fairly certain it was indeed necessary as I tried MANY times choosing different CHA answers and never could have gained +2 WIS without both Annah + Grace in party and without the nature of the man CHA answer.

You have to say she can kill Annah and Grace.

PS: Do you know you can gain +2 WIS +1INT?

According to Chris Avellone, the high Wisdom response at the end of the game is the “true” one (and there’s an Achievement for it to boot, in case there was any doubt).

You get +3 wis and +1 int total, and yes, you have to say that and for that you need both in party.

    belief

taken from a forum because I'm too lazy myself:
If you essentially did most story beats and are wise enough, TNO can ask The Transcendent One for his answer, who claims that nothing can. But then TNO responds that belief can change.

Throughout the game your belief shaped the very planes around you (like Adahn)
