Touchscreen not working in inventory on windows

As the title says. I can play the game with the touch screen totally fine in the game world, but nothing works in the inventory except for the exit button. Is there a fix, and if not can this be fixed later?

I've noticed the same as well when trying to play the game with the touch interface on my Surface Pro 3.

Same on SP4. I'm pretty sure touch for Windows isn't fully supported, unfortunately.
