Build My Party

I really want to do a trilogy run (don't know if that nomenclature still applies because of SoD, but anyways) again, I've only done it once and never with the same character all the way through. I am open to everything, so build my party! My character, my companions, everything and anything you want. I might post updates about the run.
I plan on using mods, but not ones that add new companions, although BG1NPC will be a staple.
Thanks!

I suggest this party for BG1:
    Necromancer->Cleric PC
    Eldoth
    Shar-Teel
    Skie
    Minsc
    Edwin

In SoD, you should dual-class and recruit Baeloth instead of Eldoth (name's similar), and Glint instead of Shar-Teel.

    For BG2, use this party:
    Edwin
    Minsc
    Anomen
    Keldorn
    Rasaad

Edwin and Minsc together? Good luck with that!
Make a charname JESTER, and for BG1:
Quayle, Safana, Yeslick, Faldorn, Rasaad. (I have absolutely no idea how this'll play out, but sounds interesting...)
Haven't played SoD, so dunno about that.
BG2, Korgan, Mazzy, Neera, Cernd, and Jan Jansen.

.... And that moment you realize you literally overlap with 0 of the past suggestion. Oops.

@CrevsDaak Always thought that Necromancer/Cleric was a neat class combo, and I love Eldoth & Skie.
@Neverused Yay Quayle and Faldorn! I like this a lot too.

I only have one piece of advice.

Recruit M'Khiin. She's the most realistic and believable NPC in the saga.

The best way to ascertain what mysterious fluids are is to drink them. All of them, just to make sure they're all the same and not different types of mysterious fluid.

Also, cloudy and off-color antidotes are like off-brand generics. They should be used whenever possible to save money.

@SomeSort: Shall I move that to the "Did you actually know" thread?

Well, one option would be an evil-ish run (consistent too):

    Just about any class PC
    Montaron
    Viconia
    Baeloth
    Dorn
Kagain or Shar-Teel, replaced with M'Khiin in SOD (because she's awesome)

    For BG2
    Viconia
    Yoshimo replaced by Hexxat
    Korgan
    Dorn
    Edwin

    A shorty run
    PC Dwarven defender
    Montaron
    Kagain
Yeslick (though he may have issues)
    Quayle
Tiax (or Alora, but why would you not have Tiax?)

    BG2
    Jan
    Mazzy
    Korgan (this will be interesting)
and then notice the absolute lack of shorties in BG2

Or keep it a bit on the wild side:
    PC berserker -> thief
    Minsc
Faldorn (replaced with M'Khiin in SOD)
    Neera
    Jaheira
    Kivan

    BG2
    Minc
    Korgan
    Cernd
    Neera
    Wilson

Or go for something that is a bit more unique

    PC Shadowdancer
    Rasaad
    Quayle
    Xan
    Kivan or Ajantis

    BG2
    Wilson
    Rasaad
    Mazzy
    Cernd

I went ahead and started playing the party @CrevsDaak suggested, right now I'm using Imoen to fill in for Skie (they are basically identical!) So far I'm enjoying it, it'll be strange going from necromancer to cleric but I think that'll be part of the experience. Not a lot of combat has taken place yet, I used story mode to chump my way through recruitment quests and used BG1NPC to get Eldoth early, but I expect it'll be pretty challenging considering the party is different, but not entirely bad.

I think I'm going to rush getting to Baldur's Gate so I can get Skie as fast as possible.
