How come PST:EE comes with the vanilla version but other EEs don't?

How come PST:EE comes with the vanilla version but other EEs don't? I would really like to see BG1:EE, BG2:EE and IWD:EE to include the original, unaltered versions aswell.

P.S. Does PST:EE include the vanilla version inside the EE engine or as a separate product?

    If you buy the Enhanced Editions from GOG.com, you get a digital copy of the original game as well. This is true for BG:EE, BG2:EE, IWD:EE, and PST:EE - but, only if you purchase from GOG.

    I think part of the reason is that GoG.com has (or had previously) the original engine games. I know Steam only has the EE versions, and I think (but I could be mistaken) that Beamdog had to reproduce most of the games from scratch, at least from some interviews I saw a few years ago so while they have license, they don't have the original game and maybe a way to make a CD Key for it or something.

    Only thing I could think of... On a minor note, I totally wouldn't mind having a button when creating a new game if we want to opt out of some of the EE stuff (because I really hate Neera interrupting my party fetching because of a Red Wizard, or Rasaad's kung-fu yelling scaring me when playing with headphones).
