You can download the previous version 1.4 from the github link and extract the c0unisha.itm file and place it into the item file until I get back to my pc and get it fixed.

Adding that file as well has resulted in a successful installation. The initial dialogue that grants spells seems to be firing correctly as well.
Does the Shadow Disciple get bonus spells for high abilities? I started a new BGEE game and he has 4 spell casts at 1st level instead of the 3 that a sorcerer gets.
EDIT: Given that the Shadow Disciple gets bonus known spells for high ability score, it may be worth actually removing a casting per day (compared to sorcerer) as I do feel the SD is pretty powerful as is.
The random additional spell cast appears to be something hardcoded just like for custom mage kits. I will remove one spell cast per day to have it be in line with the regular sorcerer but no more.
@Artemius_I, in BG2EE if you start a new game with a Shadow Disciple AND create a party, the opening cut scene does not happen and Imoen never comes to open your cage.
It works fine if you do not create any party members (only start with SD).
Having the same problem a few other people have reported, when dropped into Candlekeep the dialogue doesn't fire to allow me to pick my Shadow Magic spells so I have zero spells. Is there a way to force-kick that dialogue?

I had an interesting bug occur while hunting down Xarius the Black. I had to kill him twice. I am not sure if it was some special shadow double ability, or a spell. Neither time resulted in any exp. for the deed. Both of them dropped all his belongings as well, so x2 equipment. Any ideas?

[4th level spell: Summon Shadows] If I order a Shadow Fiend to cast a spell at a certain enemy, it ignores my order and attacks in melee (note that this may be an engine bug affecting all summoned creatures....)
Shadow Adepts learn spells through dialogue like Shadow Disciples. Do you plan on adding scrolls so that Shadow Adepts can scribe them into their spell book?
[Shadow Monk] What happens if I play BG:EE and/or BG2:EE with the hidden option Sneak Attack/Crippling Strike? For example, Nix will use the Shadowdancer Sneak Attack table from IWD:EE (but will probably lose the ability to blind the opponent?)... What about the Shadow Monk?
Scroll Scribing: There are a small amount of shadow scrolls that allow for the Mage Shadow Adept to learn more spells, but no to the idea of it being a primary means of spell learning. Not only would it not make sense for there to be random Shadow Magic scrolls lying around the Sword Coast where Shadow Adepts are practically nonexistent, but the task of drawing hundred of scroll icons, creating items and implementing them into the game is too much work for me to even consider doing. It would also skew balance even more in the favor of the shadow disciple.
Sneak Attack: I have no idea. My guess is that it’ll use the sneak attack table as it’s supposed to since there’s nothing special about the shadow monk’s ability to backstab but I really don’t know since I neither use the sneak attack option nor have I ever played Shadow Magic in IWD:EE. That said, I think Nyx’s blinding backstab will still work.
Thanks for the clarification about the Shadow Adept. As a side note, I noticed that there is no casting graphics for these new spells. Is this also intended?

There is actually a very subtle animation for casting. It's easier to see while zoomed out and in a bright area, but there are black sparks when a spell is cast.

Yeah, there must be a way since in IWD:EE Stalkers can perform Sneak Attacks....
About LIFE-DRAIN: you should find a way to patch the fists instead of giving the monk an ability containing opcode 248.... For example, this will allow your Arcane Archer kit to deal extra damage only with Longbows (and not with any missile weapons):
1) Patch every longbow with an equipping 177 effect (Self, Instant/While equipped, resource: EFF1.EFF). 2) EFF1.EFF must be a 249 (Ranged hit effect, target: Self, Instant/while equipped, resource: EFF2.EFF). 3) EFF2.EFF must be a 146 (Cast spell, target: Preset target, Instant/permanent until death, resource: SPL1.SPL). 4) And finally SPL1.SPL must contain a spell ability with opcode 12 (Damage, Preset target, Instant/permanent until death).
Maybe something similar can be applied to the Shadow Monk...

Can't be done. I tried, but equipped effects do not work properly on the fists. Life-Drain is stuck as is.
Arcane Archer's bonuses for all missile weapons is intended and will not be changed.
