Movie audio is mute for first second or two

I've tried this numerous times both in-game and via the "movies" menu option, and I consistently get this result in the Enhanced Edition, but not in the original.

For some reason, the first second or so of audio in all the game's movie files is completely mute, like there's some processing delay in playing back the audio. This isn't an issue in the original version of the game, nor is it an issue in the rest of the audio in the enhanced version. Anyone have any ideas what might be causing this?

    Our team hasn't been able to reproduce it internally and hasn't seen issues like that before.

    We could recommend to update drivers and post what system specs you are running the game on.
