Cannot Add Bhaalspawn Powers in ToB

I always felt like you should get your powers back after your soul is returned, so I tried EEKeepering them onto CHARNAME, however the abilities disappear as soon as I click the innate powers button. When I check the save in EEKeeper, they are completely missing as well. I assume this is due to an effect from whatever script causes bhaalspawn powers to be removed, but I can't find the effect to remove it. Anyone know what it is?

    Have you maybe used the Ascension mod before (it has a component that offers something what you're missing)?

    Yeah I have but I don't really enjoy the craziness and frustration of the last battle so I haven't played with it again.
