in Baldur's Gate II: Enhanced Edition
Thoughts on Yoshimo -> Imoen, Aerie, Jaheira, Viconia, Korgan or Mazzy and my main.

I was thinking to choose a mage for my main, maybe a bard or some kind of specialist.

    It's nice setup with every profession covered. I wouldn't go that heavy with divine casters, but it's just my preference. :)
    I think bard would work fine with that party.

    Aerie and Korgan don't get along very well. I hear that If you have them both in the party Aerie eventually leaves the group forever... There may be some conflict between Viconia and Aerie as well, but I don't remember for sure...

    There is a conflict with Aerie and Korgan that will cause Aerie to leave forever if it triggers.There is a chance for it not to trigger for a long time time though. If you can manage to keep them together through SoA, there is a nice little twist when it triggers in ToB ;)

    I decided to ditch Viconia for Anomen, but how do I stop Jaheiras romance... For some reason, I keep getting Jaheira romance right from the start.

    - Give her one of the answers that breaks the romance. You'll have to be mean to her just once.

    - Drop her from the party, then accept her again. This should also break the romance.

    - Use the console to set the romance to Broken:

    C:SetGlobal("JaheiraRomanceActive","GLOBAL",3)
