I Bought BG:EE Through the App Store--How Can I Play SoD?

The threads addressing an App Store version of SoD are from 2016--did this ever get resolved? Is there a way I can bu and play SoD without having to rebuy BG:EE?

    To clarify, I'm not talking about iOS--I mean I have this on a OS X Yosemite Mac. Is there a way to use Beamdog, GoG, or whatever to play SoD with my existing App Store version of BG:EE?

    Sadly, not yet.

    You have to buy SoD in the store you bought BG:EE from.

    Thanks. I ended up buying BGEE over again through Steam--kind of bummed about that.
