Difficulties with SCS installation on a Mac

First of all i tried to find a modding section in english but i could not. Apologies if this is in the wrong department.
After searching through a lot of forums posts here and elsewhere, i have discovered a few other people with the same problem but no fix.
Initially i had the classic permission problem, so i removed the setup stratagem file that was causing the issue, and then installation begins normally, i select to display the various categories and then i try to install the initilisation, upon which i get this:
ERROR: Failure("resource [%CLERIC_STORM_OF_VENGEANCE%.SPL] not found for 'COPY'")
I cant find a way to fix this anywhere. This problem appeared both in my bg 1 EE and bg 2 EE installations.
I also would like to ask if there is a bigworld client for mac, i found some posts saying it was created and some people used it but all the links that indicated where the tools could be downloaded are dead. Was it discontinued?

The BW Fixpack is cross-platform. So you can use that to include the latest user-contributed fixes for SCS.

I would like to ask some advice for strategy if i may.
I am planning to run Minsc with the answerer, Valygar with Celestial/Ram, Sarevok with Ravager, Jaheira with Acid club/Tob Spears, Imoen as a mage and a F/C Pc with flail. Will i be able to deal with those liches and their waves of protection (I am using most of the smarter ai components)? Am i forced to get 2x mages at least to deal with it? And would using hard difficulty too problematic? I dont use cheese like trap stacking,summon armies cloud artillery and so on.
