Mods not working

Hey guys, I've played BG2EE heavily modded and it all worked fine but for some reason I can't get any mods to install for BGEE... I have the latest Weidu, I downloaded the modmerger, I am in C: and in my GOG folder... But I'm getting an error message in all of them, it varies, but for example planetouched gives the make sure you're not unpacking in an archive message. Any clues? I'm just doing what I would have done in my BG2EE folder... I do have SoD installed but. And yes, I am ONLY using mods from the compatible list.

I already downloaded modmerger... I managed to install a few mods and the game ran fine, however now it won't launch, it just crashes immedietely!

I have SoD. I've installed one mod and the game simply will not start so I had to uninstall, delete the folder and reinstall it. The simple exp cap remover works but that's it.

If you have BG:EE+SoD from GoG or Steam, before installing any mods, you have to install the ModMerge first following the instructions Pantalion links above.

After that you may install all mods. You install mods into the folder with the main game (which has the CHITIN.key file). The actual contents of the mods (after you install them) go to the override folder.
