Can’t find weapons in ID:EE Heart of Winter

in Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition
I’m playing Heart of Winter with a new party and no one has any weapons. I found the one ranger that sells bows and crossbows but I can’t find any melee weapons in the town. Am I missing something?

    Here, this will help. What you need to do is go to the Shrine of Waukeen, which if I remember correctly is in the very first village of HoW, just look around and you'll find it.
