Hello Everyone!

I am Atremious. I am working with a group currently designing a multiplayer server for Neverwinter Nights: EE. As part of this process, we decided that we would reach out to the community to get some feedback to help us out. The plan is to share some of the findings with the community at large, and while we are not affiliated with Beamdog, the analysis of the information will also be shared with them.

All information and responses are kept strictly condidential and anonymous. It adheres to all PIPEDA privacy laws. Please take some time to help us get to know the community and its thoughts on various mechanics and experiences! And let me know if you have any questions about anything to do with the Survey, or with our Project.

    Wow.

    In the almost four hours since this survey has been up we have received a total of 20 people respond so far! The more responses we get the more accurare the information. So thank you to all who have already taken part. Your feedback is important.

    No problem. And once again thank you for the feedback. I want to give another update. It's been just over 12 hours and we've received 80 responses. That is absolutely incredible, let's keep it up!

    I wanted to share something fun. We've hit well over one hundred unique respondents since we started only a day ago. Here is a glance at one of the data points that on it's own is just fun to see! This is the communities favorite classes! (So far)



    The bigger the word the more it came up.

    People sure love their rogues coming in so far at number one.

    Close behind that tied is the Cleric and the Ranger, with Wizard taking a very close fourth place (Though if the answers of 'mage' are entered in it may be that Wizard is second!)

    Then we have Paladins

    And then we have Bards.

    Certainly an interesting list of favorite classes! I'll update this as time goes on. We've still got until the 20th!

    I'm surprised Barbarian got so high considering that the old version is a fraction as good as the 3.5 version and even that seems to get a lukewarm reception in D&D groups and NWN2 discussions.

    Yeah, I put in Rogue, Fighter and Shadowdancer as my favorite classes on your survey. Rogue's are just so versatile.

    I have never coded for NWN but it was always something that I wanted to get into so I answered Yes to contact me. By day I am a C# developer.

    I am rather happy with the outcome so far as well. We're up to 150 unique responses. It helps to be able to easily ask people who care about something, where they congregate to care about something! I really do appreciate all the support though and hope that this data can be put to good use.

    Hello again everyone! It's been a bit and we've had a good number more responses. The feedback we have been getting is honestly quite interesting. And to continue to share a bit of the fun aspect of some of the things I've found out, this is an update on the favorite class question



    So it looks as if the rogue has been dethroned!

    Cleric is now sitting at the number one spot, with the rogue just in it's shadow.

    Wizard has made a surge to third place, with the Paladin taking a lead over the now fifth place ranger.

    The fighter now takes it's place at sixth place, with Bard falling two places back to eighth place! Druids have taken seventh!

    I almost want to take it again just so Harper Scout shows up, however tiny. Kind of surprised Dwarven Defender and Champion of Torm aren't showing up at all either.
