Did anyone else catch this after VIKINGS?

Initially, I was worried that the show was moving a little slow - but once they are forced to flee to Paris... things take a turn and the action definitely picks up!

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the show!
Just waiting patiently for someone to come complain about the lack of actual history...

    I really dug the second episode. I feel like this show is hitting it with character development also. I really enjoyed it!

    I can see where you're concerned with that... But I think it's kind of cool, because it shows that they're flawed too... and not these perfect representations.

    I'm quite enjoying it too, and I don't even mind them incorporating several Arthurian elements into it.

    I've been recording the episodes and only got to watch the first one yesterday. Agree that it started out a bit slow but looks to be a pretty solid show.

    I feel like the "flashback" episode was a bit slow ... I am about to watch last week's episode right now (took a wee vacation and did a camping trip so I've been away from the real world for a bit) :)

    Never heard of this show, but gonna look it up now. There's always room for more historically based shows in life :)

    Just be aware - it's like VIKINGS. It's a drama/action show - so it does take liberties with the story telling.

    I love, love, LOVE Vikings (the show) - but some folks on the thread I started for that show complained about the "liberties" they took.

    Hehe, I was probably one of them :D I like Vikings as well. It's a good show, not great but good. Im still two seasons behind though, so gotta catch up on that before starting a new show. Since my GF didn't like Vikings so much I see it myself and then it takes longer since I watch it more seldom. Anyways, thanks for the tip. Cheers.
