    If you can pull off killing Drizzt, give Montaron his armor. Fighter/Thieves and Cleric/Thieves go with Drizzt's armor like milk and cookies.

    Another good strategy is having Montaron use Slings and Short Swords, so he can equip a shield. Once I find Kiel's Buckler he gets it.

    @Quartz , we haven't killed Drizzt because of my bard's alignment, but Monty sure gets more useful as he progresses - in fact, being the only fighter in the party, he's got the best thac0.
