Will a dedicated server machine require its own BD/Steam account/key?

Being PW vets with an ongoing D&D game dating back to (and before) our previous NWN heyday PW, of course we're already planning for NWN:EE. I bought our community early access copies for christmas and ideas are flowing... so we're wondering now...
Since we have a machine to host a PW, we're wondering if that machine will need its own seperate "key" to host a game. I don't recall needing that in the "goodl ol days," but... well... publisher launchers and steam clients make me think DRM and the scene might have changed.
I mean I just bought seven copies, one more won't kill me, but... must I?
