Wow, this looks nice! I think I like the look of inventory screen. But where are paper dolls, sprites and helmets/shields from BG1? I thought they will be in the game.
Zooming looks pretty nice too. Very good feature. I don't like the "currenly used weapon" image, appearing on the portraits. I hope there will be an option to turn it off. GUI also looks nice for me. Can't wait for the release!
Anyone else noticed the glitter particles not lining up correctly at certian spell effects, like @ 0:17?
I've looked really hard and am still not sure what you mean. What do you mean?
Certain spells like Charm, Glitterdust and Hold Person have a certain particle effect. Small glowing pixels descending from the projectile as it travels. I also remember how you could never save the game while these particle effects were in motion either.
Anyway, @ 0:17 they are not lining up correctly with the path of the projectile. Instead of forming behind the projectile, they are forming above and in front of it. Looks a bit weird.
I looked quite a lot trying to find the easter egg, didn't found it but apparently Sarevoi enhanced his party by bringing not only Tamoko but also Semaj and Angelo to kill Gorion
Theoretically it's moddable, but I think people understimate exactly how many GUI screens are in Baldur's Gate. When we discovered the ultimate number that we would have to fix/convert, several unnamed team members went pale in the face.

This whole game is easter egg. It does not exist! *Most evil laughter ever.*
Nice trailer. Seems to me like they added just the right amount of gui updates. I especially like the zoom feature.
A downside for some might be the Baldurs Gate 2 look and models but I think it was the right choice, especially considering the team is going to port BG2 next.
Comments
im truly glad for the work all the people in here have made.
Except for those big icons on the top-right of the character portraits. Please tell me we can toggle them off.
"Wandering alone on the coastway road: How smart is this?"
Gave me shivers it did.

And that's why the pantaloons that you were asked to wash but never did were golden.
