Android RPGs?

GawainBSGawainBS Member Posts: 523
Thanks to the posters here, I got a Lenova Android tablet and I'm happy with it. Now I'm looking for RPGs to play on it. What are your suggestions?
  • Price isn't a problem.
  • While I deeply love the Final Fantasy series, please don't mention them here, as I'm well aware of them.
  • The classic Black Isle/Bioware games are something to play on PC.
  • It needs to be able to be played offline.
  • I prefer a decent levelup/development mechanic and gear-upgrades, however, I don't like mandatory excessive grinding.
  • A decent story goes a long way too.
I'm looking forward to your suggestions!

Did you try "The Bard's Tale"?

Two more I can tell that you may like are "Titan Quest" and "Oceanhorn - Monster of the Uncharted Seas".

I've played both Bard's Tale & Titan Quest on PC.
    I'll look into Oceanhorn, thanks!

Hi @GawainBS, enjoy your Lenova Tablet! This depends on whether you prefer isometic/top down/first person, turn based/etc and how the visuals of the game impacts on your play... Gave these a try when I had a tablet myself (although I don't think I completed any before going to a Hybrid notebook...), so here is a couple of RPGs you could look at:

The Quest and it's expansions (I think it is up to 5 at the moment) (I only tried the base game but it wasn't to bad - sort of Skyrimesk)
    9th Dawn 1-2
    Arcane Quest 1-3
    Dungeon Hero
    Dungeons of Chaos (Bought)
Heroes of Might and Magic III (Bought but was a fan of HoMM in the days)
The Deep Paths (Bought this as well because of Eye of the Beholder...)

Although not purely a RPG (more of a Match 3 with a tinge of RPG), one of my favourites was Puzzle Quest 2 (very addictive and finished this one, couple of times).

    Gus

    Edit:
It would be remiss of me not to mention the games in the latest Wild Surge:
    Lords of Waterdeep
Tomb of Annihilation (ignore this one - not Android yet)

Shadowrun Returns is PC material for me, but thanks for the headsup.

Nice list, @Gusinda , I'll look into those.

I prefer isometric/third person, and turnbased or realtime doesn't matter.
