Purchasing the Game

I have about purchasing the game. I own a copy of the deluxe version of the game (from Beamdog) and I wish to purchase a copy of my friend (not the deluxe). I am worried however that if I purchase the non deluxe version it will not show up in my gift able section due only owning the deluxe version.

Any help would be nice,
