I saw some discussions about people playing the shaman already now, but I wasn't able to find the class in IWD. I even reinstalled the game and nothing. How do you guys activate it ?

The beta packages should still be live on the site. You should see them if you're logged in on the site. https://www.beamdog.com/products/icewind-dale-enhanced-edition-beta - there you opt in the beta and afterwards will be able to choose a dropdown menu in the Beamdog Client (Retail - Beta).

Ever notice how clicking on the "Sign in" doesn't bring up any form to sign in? ;-)

Tried IE, FF, Chrome.

Try to clear your browser cache and check for the browser updates. I get a sign in form popping up when clicking on "Sign in" on Chrome and FF.

@saox that's the sort of glitch you can get due to Windows auto-updating. If you haven't already tried it then restarting your computer is worth a go.

Update.

It worked when I signed into the page from another link than that.

It said it will add the beta to my Beamdog Client, but it didn't do it.

I tried downloading Icewind Dale the way it usually works, but it wasn't the beta, nor was the shaman there.

@saox are you using the new Beamdog Client or the old one? Can you provide a screenshot?

Got it. It was the client. A new client needs to be downloaded for it to work.

I would conclude that the instruction to do this is horrible lol.

Glad the problem is solved.

As for the Client, when you go to https://www.beamdog.com/ under "About" you get "About Beamdog Client" - https://www.beamdog.com/about/client - where you get all the needed info, including the FAQ explaining the legacy client and downloaders are no longer supported.
