Can EE keeper/NI be used to implement Wild Mage Spell Progression Tables?

Hi
After some playing around with EE Keeper, I've managed to dual-class a character from a thief TO a wild mage, with very few issues that I can see so far. Wild surge is working. -/+ casting spell levels are working. Spells are memorised, etc. The only problem I have is spell memorisation. My wild mage is set on the spell progression table of a trueclass mage, meaning it doesn't get the +1 spell slot per level.
This is a recurring theme amongst the community of those who have experimented with this class combination in the past. However, most of the posts I have been able to find on this subject have been a few years old. I am wondering if anyone has by now found a solution to this? If you could post it here it would really help me out.
Edit: If there is no way to do this with EE Keeper, can it be done with Near Infinity?

Not sure which method you used for the dual but I am guessing that you got to the level of thief you wanted, dualled to mage, changed kit type using EEKeeper, reduced level of Mage to 0, loaded the game and levelled up. This should give you the required Wild Mage spells in your spell list.
To increase the spells per level by 1, try this:
Open EEKeeper, load the game and go to the Effects Tab for your character
Add effect 'Spell: Wizard Spell Slots Modifier [42]' and make it look like this:
This 'should' give you an additional spell for each level. Haven't yet played a WM, so I am not sure whether there is any thing else that would need to be modified... Interested in any feedback you could offer.
Will have to play a Halfling Thief/WM. Reminds me of my dog!

so hopefully that isnt the problem, because if it is, then you might be hooped
So it should be just change 9 to 511 in Spell Level.
