Hoow to ensure that my BGee game saves on Android do not get deleted when I uninstall the game?

I just finished BGEE on Android and want to ensure that my game saves do not get deleted when I uninstall the game because I want to take my character into BG2. I am able to locate the game saves, but I have no idea how to copy them to a safe place and I don't know if they would disappear if I just uninstall the game (my device does not have enough room for both games).

Can anyo ne help me with this? I also asked in the BGEE forum but then thought maybe this was the correct place?
