Hello!

At the top of my page, I've (as have all of you, I assume) received a notification reading :

"An update to the Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition Launcher is now available. If you are experiencing slow downloads please restart your launcher. You will be prompted to apply the update and your launcher will restart."

When I open up my Baldur's Gate EE, it still just reads "Preload Complete"
Am I missing something here? Do I need to re-install the launcher?

    In you installation folder, put your crusor on BG:EE.exe and wait, if it shows you that the version is 2.4 you are fine, if not just run it and it will ask you if you want to update.

    What does this mean to those of us running the Press Review launcher, when it says version 0.1.9.0 and aren't asked to update? (And who can't get past the message "Getting download info")

    I downloaded on the 24th; hovering over the .exe won't show the version, but by rt-clicking and checking Properties/Details shows that I have v.0.2.3.0. The installer only shows that I've completed the download.

    Am I good to go or not?

    I preloaded several days ago, everything was fine installer was on "Preload complete" status. I launched it today, it asked about installing the update. I clicked "Install", installer reloaded in a second and now only shows "Getting download info" and nothing happens. Version number is 0.2.4.0. I have no idea whether it updated or not, and what happened to my preload.

    I got an email last night that there was an update to the game/launcher that would help with getting the actual game tomorrow. I decided to wait until this morning to download anything (internet was horrible; 9kb/sec). Like Babylon, I installed the update with the BGEE launcher and have the 2.4.0 version of BGEE.exe. Does that mean I got the update I was supposed to get?

    Yes, the 2.4.0 launcher is the correct version, just check that you have download also the additional 500 mb, your folder should be at the size of:

    1.77 GB (1,906,093,899 bytes)

    Stuck at 'Getting Download info' too. Are the servers down?

    Double click the Pre-Load Complete bar and it does a check of all your BG:EE files, downloading anything additional that is necessary. I'm hoping this will work for future updates, too, but don't really know for certain.

    Only have 1.24mb. It's not a super big deal that I don't have it pre-loaded since I have to wait 2 more days anyway (thank you time zones). It's slightly irritating to me that I somehow screwed up an update wizard that's supposed to do this automatically. :P

    On Sunday Overhauld released the second part of the pre-load file with a 500Mb size.

    Apparently their servers are getting knocked around again with people trying to download this new file, that's why your stuck at getting download info.

    I just read in Cameron Tofer's twitter that the final download is just 25mb, so it should be really fast for all who have pre-loaded.

    Just deleted the 766.beam file again and the update is working. Seems to be around 500MB.

    It took three tries, but I was finally able to bring down the update. FIles verified, and all that junk...is it noon yet?

    I have the full game downloaded, 1.77Gb file size, says download is complete. It's been preloaded since yesterday but i deleted the 766.beam and 766.status files to force a recheck anyway. It checked the files and went back to "download complete". I don't understand what else it would be waiting on after reading many threads about this, everyone seems to be trying to download the 500Mb patch that I got yesterday. Can someone tell me what the problem is?
