    Huh... I was expecting to see shrews instead of mice...

    Nah, if it were shrews this fight would have been over in 2 seconds, and in 3 seconds you wouldn't have known there was a scorpion there at all...

    I don't think that is a super venomous species of scorpian. The claws are failrly large compared to its stinger. It relies more on its claws to hold smaller prey still.

    Some of the comments are saying these are grasshopper mice, which are highly aggressive, immune to a variety of poisons, and eat scorpions.

    Allegedly, scorpion stings only numb them to pain, lending them a combat advantage.
