I don't think that is a super venomous species of scorpian. The claws are failrly large compared to its stinger. It relies more on its claws to hold smaller prey still.

Nah, if it were shrews this fight would have been over in 2 seconds, and in 3 seconds you wouldn't have known there was a scorpion there at all...
