Shaman Playthrough - starting tomorrow?

Really stoked that the 2.5 release is around the corner and I can finally play a Shaman! (first time available on Android)

Love to have a divine caster with a big axe, inspired by and using this art:



Going to do a full Candlekeep to Throne run if everything plays out.

Thinking about going for a all girl Neutral(ish) party:

- CHARNAME - Shaman
- Shar Teel?*
- Jaheira (too bad I'll have to kill off Khalid)
- Branwen
- Imoen
- Neera

How about this party composition?

*Not really sure about including Shar Teel and the need for a pure fighter type, but having her as packmule sounds nice. Maybe include Safana instead to keep the party non-evil? Only thing is that Safana would not really add much to the mix abilitywise IIRC. Maybe go for Skie instead (enlisting and killing off Eldoth first)?

    Shaman are a LOT of fun. The dance summons are unsefyl, but can be tricky to implement. Luckily you also have sorceror level spamming of druid spells. Good luck!

    A bit surprising to see you've set your intelligence so low - don't you want to be able to use wands, scrolls etc?

    It was partly a roleplaying choice. She's pretty and tough, but not the smartest. If I'd rolled even higher, I would have chosen higher intelligence, but didn't want to skimp on the other abilities.

    I also like to have the hp regeneration after I equip Bentley's buckler.

    might even take Minsc or Khalid in my all-girl party (with the girdle on!)

    Well, originally Half-Orcs were stated to be passable as humans. I blame warcraft for the current mainstream hulking brutes.

    I like my half-orc woman with green skin and tusks, and little more meat on her bones, thank you. ;)

    Now imagine her with Strenght 10, instead of 19. And less green (that shade of green is too orcish). Very close to human.

    Talking about half orcs, quite a bit underway now. Almost lvl 6, running with Imoen, Jaheira, Branwen and Safana (while dualing Imoen). Finally kicked out Neera, because she kept dying on me and I finished Adoy's.

    Now doing Dorn's quest. He's awesome! After his quest, Rasaad will be next.
