Ya'll update borked my characters ...

Screenshot, an auto update that bypassed my steam , "only update when I approve" setting ... borked my characters on a PW I play on, as seen in the screen shot ...
Skills are borked ... blanks, in game there's crazy numbers attached to them.

Cannot "level up" characters, goes through the screens and selections, but clicking "OK" to confirm leveling, does nothing ... just sits there.

I also got "stuck" in three cut-scene I could not abort, even though where I was at in the PW had no cut-scenes scripted where I got stuck in them at.

    @BenevolentDevil There hasn't been an official patch lately. What was released is a beta patch (you can go to the beta tab on Steam, and opt out of the beta, if you don't want it).

    Also pretty sure you'd not be able to connect to that PW unless it too, updated to the development beta version.

    For some reason, I suspect they've probably subscribed to a bunch of workshop items and someone has updated one of their workshop items that includes overrides (or perhaps the servers haks) and either there's been conflict with them not playing well together or one of them has been corrupted.

    I'd recommend you ditch all the custom content in your Documents\Neverwinter Nights\override, remove all steam workshop subscriptions (they should delete themselves after unsubscribing I think? I avoid the workshop as I don't trust it not to cause issues) and both have steam verify your game files followed by downloading the PW's haks and sticking them in their correct folders.

    My fix was to uninstall NWN, and re-install. Worked , until earlier as NWN had a required update , when it d-loaded, which was 35 mb in size. Using steam news link to find out what the "update" was , talking about the latest current build.
    I have nothing but portraits in my override, and Amethyst Dragon's transparent gui.

    Twice this has happened now, inside of 24 hours.

    If It's a workshop issue ... I'm at my wits end on what it could be.

    AH Ha!!! Found the culprit!

    It was PRC workshop item, even though I was "unsubscribed after checking it out, the files were still in my override folder, and I think thats the 35mb "update" , and steam is just retarded with it's "news" content, still says same thing, that NWN just updated to latest version of EE.
