Not accumulating experience points

in Baldur's Gate: Siege of Dragonspear
I'm 60 hours into SOD with a level 9 Fallen Ranger and he hasn't accumulated any experience points. He has 161000 XP and the dialogue box says he'll reach the next level at 439000. Should I assume that this is a bug or is there something I'm missing? Thanks.

    Please zip and attach your save at support.baldursgate.com so that our QA could check it and find out what's wrong.
