Odd crash bug

Hey, so I've reached the end of Chateau Irenicus in my latest playthrough and am just moving about some items in me and Imoen's inventory. However, when I picked up a pearl necklace in Imoen's inventory, my game stopped responding and I was forced to quit. Afterwards I was unable to open the save (and all other recent saves), as though it had been somehow corrupted.

Charname is an avenger, currently in fire salamander form. I do not know if picking up any other items causes this bug as I cannot access any of the other recent saves to test it.

I am currently using an unmodded version of the game from the apple store on the latest patch. I've attached the offending save to this post as well.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
