BG2EE freezes on Rest when any of party members have less than max HP

Hi!
I've just started having a problem where I can't rest without BG2EE hanging when clicking the Rest button.
But this only happens when any of my party members are wounded (have less than max HP). If I heal them first so they all have max HP, I can rest without issues.

How can I troubleshoot and eliminate this issue? Is something like that a known bug?

My game version is 2.5.16.6 purchased on GoG and launched from GoG Galaxy.

    Would you be able to upload a saved game? Also, what type of PC/Notebook and operating system are you playing on?
