    I remember another pool about this topic, opened some years ago - I recall that Europe got many votes.

    I agree, but I didnt claim that Europe was the union.

    Just pointed out that a European Union without Italy will leave the rest of us in the EU with France and Germany... devoid of humour.

    Europe will prevail - Union or not - even when the house is divided against it self. Thats why we have such grand opinions about our selves - even if history has showed how ill behaved we can be when we are in that mood.

    Europe is not one house, and imperialist Germans acting like it is will be exactly why the EU will eventually fail.

    Anyway, this will be my final words on the matter in this thread. Sorry for causing this drift from topic, @OP.
